Kris Kringle Golf Tournament: Players wanted

Golfers are invited to tee off in support of Project Shepherd by participating in the Kris Kringle Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, December 5 at Lakewood Country Club. Participation will directly benefit Lakewood’s Project Shepherd program and assist local families who are in need during the holiday season.

The tournament is a key fund raiser for this special program. Through combined efforts by Lakewood Rotary Club and City of Lakewood, Project Shepherd has provided assistance for 36 years to individuals and families, including many children and seniors, living in Lakewood who would otherwise be without food, gifts and toys during the holiday season.

Tournament format
Golfers will tee off with an 11:45 a.m. shotgun start. The tournament uses a foursomes (Alternate Shot) format with quick play resulting in an awards dinner at 4:30 p.m.

Principal sponsors L.A. County Supervisor Don Knabe, EDCO/BZ Waste Services, Lakewood Regional Medical Center and Lakewood Center assure that all participants will again enjoy a fun format of competitive golf with great food, plentiful drinks, unique contests, and awesome prizes and awards.

Additional sponsor opportunities are available from $200 to $5,000. As a sponsor, your choice includes various golf and dinner options, signage and program recognition. Join our principal sponsors (listed at right) and CARE Ambulance in making an early commitment to a sponsor package and receive additional promotional exposure in pre-tournament publications.
