Hey Jared,

I narrowed my choices down to Appfolio and Buildium property management software and ultimately chose Buildium. From my research, they both are great software and you can't go wrong with either choice. I wish you nothing but success.

Hi Tony,

What property management software do you use? I recently started my own brokerage, with a specialization in property management, and opted for Appfolio. Interested to hear your thoughts.

Same here, I started investing in sacramento property at the trough of the crash. The repairs were moderate; The only hard part was finding someone to manage the properties for me. Fortunately, since the cashflow was good, I just started a small company of 4 or so to do it myself.

We use this program called Rent Pro (rentprosolutions.com) and it's been a real time and money saver

Stockton is good too if you know where to look. (for investment houses, not to live!)

I also entered the property management market because of the limited resources available. The focus of Home Property Management is to be a resource to home property managers.

Your decision to create to post was just right. As it will help the readers by providing info, it will also be an advantage to you by creating link to those people engaged in the same field as yours. I'm sure this will help you adapt new information sites that will be in use for your progress as a new property management agent. Good luck to the new horizons that you may be engaging so far!
