The City of West Jordan is offering a Down Payment Assistance grant for your West Jordan Home on your Utah Mortgage. This program will provide you with half of your required down payment and “one time closing costs” for a total of $5,000. The Utah Grant is in the form of a 0% interest deferred loan which is forgiven at a pace of 20% per year. If you live in the home for five years the entire amount is forgiven.

Qualifications:
- Income Restrictions Apply (See table)
- Must Contribute at least 1/2 of down payment (at least $2,000) towards the purchase
- Must attend a Home Buyers Course selected by West Jordon City
- Single Family Owner Occupied units only
- West Jordan Home must pass a city inspection
- Must not currently own any realestate
- Maximum Debt Ratios are 35/45
- Must purchase a home in West Jordan
