I Don’t See This Very Often Lately

Over the years, when working in the real estate industry doing real estate investing or just being a loan officer, it is common to see people hop around from company to company. I have seen title reps become loan officers. Loan officers become title reps. Loan officers become Realtors. Realtors become title reps. Realtors become loan officers.

But I haven’t seen very much jumping around lately — and I really haven’t seen people jump from being a Realtor to a loan officer.

Until now.

And it will be a good thing for Arizona.

My friend and one of the first Arizona real estate bloggers Christoph Schweiger has made the move to Sunstreet Mortgage in Mesa.

Yes, you read that right – he went from being a Realtor to a loan officer.

And I don’t see that happening every day in today’s world.

Especially since the new licensing regulations came out.

But Christoph will probably do well at whatever he sets his mind to – and I expect that he will soon be well known around the valley with the Realtor circle as someone who can help them because he understands their world so well.

According to Christoph, here are a few Sunstreet Mortgage highlights:

  • The three principal partners of Sunstreet Mortgage have over 56 years of originating loans and over 20 years of experience in running a mortgage banking operation
  • 2 Managers in Tempe: Gary Miljour and Kim Chartier
  • Sunstreet Mortgage is based in Tucson with branch offices in Nogales, Arizona and Albuquerque, New Mexico
  • Was founded by John E. Capp, Sarah J. Roads and Patrick W. Sniezek

Opening Party

Once they get moved into their new space, they are planning on having a grand opening party.  If you just can’t wait until the party, you can also stop by anytime to see them in action.

Congratulations Christoph!

Why did he make the move from a Realtor to a Loan Officer?

Great question. I asked him this and he just shrugged! I am going to see if I can get him to give me a “postable” answer…
