We Should Use Our Blogs For Solutions

This morning I posted on Activerain about a short sale situation with the infamous Bank of America!  While the post was meant to bring attention to potential short sale sellers.

It stirred up some emotions not only within myself but the Activerain Community.  Because so many people dealing with short sales have to deal with some banks stupidity.  But the more I read the comments the more I realized that we need to do more than vent or warn people of the potential pitfalls of a short sale.

We should use our blogs for solutions!

As I thought about it, it becomes clear…my next blog post will be a call to action.  Many believe we whine and complain the truth is we have power..we spend our lives cleaning up messes that others have created…we have our own voices…opinions…and we can take action..as individuals…as groups…not only by being part of a large organization but within social media.

A couple of years ago, one of my favorite television shows was canceled, Jericho.  The amazing thing was that the fans pulled together and got the show back on the air for a second season and how it happened changed my life.   Guess what the fans used?  Social Media

So look for a call to action…where I will post it on all my sites and social media sites.  All you banks doing funky stuff..be forwarned…I have a word for you…

NUTS!

I hope that the majority of the real estate community will join me! We is always better than me!

That’s the spirit! No, seriously, I think it’s a great idea. I’ve read your article on activerain, and it’s a terrifying story, but I’m sure it’s not the only case and it could happen to anyone of us! We have to show our discontent together, try to change things, and social media are nowadays probably the best way to do so. I’ll be waiting…
