Well it has been about 2 1/2 weeks since I wrote my last post “Loan Modifications: Are they spinning out of Control?” and since then this file has moved along at break neck speed. I really thought this was going to be one of those nightmare stories but…we just got an approval today!
It goes to show you that the squeaky wheel gets the oil. I called at least 3 times a week on this file…politely and gently pushing this along until it got to the Short Sale Dept. for review. Not only is this amazing in itself but this lender was IndyMac/OneWest Bank. I haven’t heard rave reviews about the process at this bank and I wasn’t expecting too much but they turned this file around and issued us an approval very quickly.
So right now…IndyMac is on my list of banks that are good to work with….more to follow.
