Utah Mortgage Rates have fallen over the past two months to the lowest levels EVER. 1971 is when Freddie Mac started to track mortgage interest rates. We are currently breaking the record of the lowest recorded average rates.
Currently the average rate for a 30-year fixed rate is 4.69% according to Freddie Mac. If you have great credit you can certainly do even better than that.
Anxious investors have moved funds from the stock market into the safety of Treasury Bonds. This huge shift has caused mortgage rates to fall to historic levels.
