WordPress is a global blogging platform. So, whether you’re the admin your own blog, or contributing to a multi-user WP community network, navigating and publishing content to a blog built on WordPress technology is the same.
The main difference you’ll notice between the various WP sites you participate on will be the available options in the left hand menu bar.
Authors on a multi-contributor group blog may only have the options to add new posts and media.
While the menu options may seem overwhelming to new WP users, there are only two things you need to pay attention to:
1. Posts: This is where you can view, edit or add new articles
2. Media: Another place to add and edit images
