New blog users commonly confuse WordPress.com with a Self-Hosted WordPress.org site.
We use the WordPress blogging platform / technology, but we host our own blogs on our own servers, which are not affiliated with WordPress.com The Company.
So, for logging in, changing passwords, uploading content…. and all other functions, consider WannaNetwork.com as your “WordPress” blog.
Step 1: Login to your Dashboard (username and password will be emailed to you)
Step 2: Click on your name – top right corner
Step 3: Update name display
Step 4: Email – Same as Gravatar.com
Step 5: Short Bio – 140 Characters Max (This shows up on the sidebar)
Step 6: Main Bio – 3-4 Sentences (This shows up on your profile page)
Step 7: Address – If you want a map on your profile page
Step 8: Change Password
Step 9: Social Links
